LEVELS

In this French language course, there are 8 possible levels, with 6-10 students per group (10 is a maximum which, for optimum effectiveness, should not be exceeded; under special circumstances, it may exceptionally rise to 11).

These eight levels are divided into the following

:

Beginner I, II Little or no knowledge of French
Intermediate I-IV Some knowledge and some speaking capability in French
Advanced I, II A fair to good speaking capability in French

Students in the class can be beginners, intermediate learners, or advanced speakers depending on their prior experience. An intensive french course helps each level progress quickly through immersive practice and structured lessons.

The student’s level is determined on the first day by aural and written tests as well as an individual oral test. The level can be adjusted during the session if required.

There is hardly any upper age limit: anyone can easily follow and derive full benefit from these audio-visual classes.

However, we may not be able to accept (either before or after our placement tests) a person with a hearing or speech impediment that seriously hinders his/her progress and ability to stay in step with the other students in the audio-visual class and generally in a course essentially based on oral French

The minimum acceptable age is 18.

Thus, students’ ages vary between 18 and 75 upward.
